Thanks to an obscure medical condition, our son’s urine is highly acidic. Remember “Alien”? Remember the alien’s acid blood that dissolved steel floors? That’s what we’re talking about.

Our last waterproof pad (and who are they kidding when they say “waterproof,” as if you’re worried about water!) lasted one night, after which our son’s pee sizzled right through, ruining another mattress.

Thanks to it’s Kevlar-Romex weave and carbon-nanotube construction, the Simmons pad was able to stop the urine better than any ordinary “water”proof pad. Highly recommended.
